Join us this August for our new Long Weekend Riding Vacations, a 3-day riding summer escape, running Wednesday through Sunday. If a full week-long trip feels like too much time away, this long weekend getaway is the perfect fit—giving you all the adventure in a shorter stay.
We’ll pick you up from the airport on Wednesday and drop you off on Sunday, keeping your travel easy and stress-free, with 3 days of riding in between!!
Enjoy three unforgettable days of riding on the best trails we offer, including our exclusive full-day ride out onto the Blackfeet Reservation for genuine Montana wilderness and wide-open country.
Since you will be joining us in the Summer time, your weekend also includes a night at our local Thursday Night rodeo—a true small-town Montana experience. Guests get to enjoy bucking broncs, barrel racing, rough stock events, and the kind of community atmosphere you only find in rural rodeo country. It’s a fun, lively evening that perfectly matches the spirit of the ranch.
Fully catered meals, fresh mountain air, and authentic Western hospitality round out this refreshing long weekend at Bear Creek Ranch.

We’re excited to announce a brand-new addition to our 2026 calendar — the “Best of Both Worlds” Riding Week!
This special vacation week offers the ultimate combination of adventure and authenticity.
Riders will spend part of the week exploring the spectacular trails of the Montana Rocky Mountains, experiencing some of the most breathtaking scenery and unforgettable riding our region has to offer. The other part of the week will take you out onto the Prairie of the Blackfeet Reservation, where you’ll get hands-on with real ranch work, pushing cattle from Summer to Winter pasture, all while experiencing the traditions that shape this unique part of the West.
It’s a one-of-a-kind opportunity to enjoy the best of both worlds — high-country mountain trails and authentic ranch life — all in one incredible week.
Whether you’re seeking new challenges, cultural connection, or simply the joy of riding through stunning country, this is an experience you won’t want to miss.

Off The Beaten Path
Finally, we've put the finishing touches on an elite horseback adventure that has become one of the most in demand year after year. We'll be riding this coming June, 2026 from the Heart Butte country north almost to the Canadian border. "Off the Beaten Path" says a whole lot! You're going to see some of the most spectacular country in North America. The "Backbone of the World," as the Blackfeet call it.
We're putting everything we know how to do into this very special horseback riding vacation. No one does it like us! The Off the Beaten Path week at Bear Creek Ranch combines the best in those qualities that make your horseback vacation trip unforgettable, and "Unbranded."
Arrival Sunday, June 14th in the afternoon. Departure Saturday, June 20th.

Always a winner for folks who like colors!!
We'll be offering horseback adventure vacations to take advantage of those special Fall days this year, 2026. For those of you interested we're going to be offering "Riding The 4 Winds" beginning on Sunday, October 4th and running until Saturday, October 10th, at Bear Creek Ranch. We're going to be riding in sections of the countryside that are beautiful beyond belief, are rarely visited, and offer as much color contrast as the country has to offer. You'll be riding in some of the best "stuff" I know.
On this trip, we're not going to put on the big miles that we're more likely to do during our cattle drives. We're going to ride easily and with lots of stops in just the right places to rest, photograph, eat lunch, and with any luck, watch a grizzly eating berries! You'll be home each evening to the ranch before a wonderful dinner served around 7pm. There's nothing like an evening at Bear Creek Ranch, enjoying a glass of wine and visiting with your new friends. Our cabins are clean, private and cozy and you'll be sure to get a great night's sleep.

Cancellation Policy
Event Week Policy:
Cancellation Policy: Deposits are non-refundable. ($1000)
Your deposit is valid for the calendar year in which your reservation is for (you are able to adjust your reservation dates to another week if we have available)
*3 months prior to your vacation week you will be charged %50 of your remaining balance with the card that is on file. This is also a non-refundable payment.
If you are unable to stay for the duration of your trip, you will still be charged the full amount of your remaining balance.
Due to our non-refund policy we highly recommend trip insurance for last minute medical/emergency cancellations. (Faye Travel Insurance)
We understand that our guests are booking these trips many months in advance in order to secure their spot. During that time, many things can happen including life changing circumstances that prevent the ability to travel for your trip. Consequently, we highly recommend trip insurance for those rare occasions. With trip insurance you can be reimbursed for any non-fundable payments made, thereby securing your vacation and peace of mind.
