This is no ordinary nose-to-tail trail ride. Saddle up for a half-day mountain adventure through the national forest bordering Glacier National Park. Our knowledgeable local guides lead you across rivers, through open meadows, and along forest trails, with sweeping views of Glacier, the Bob Marshall Wilderness, and the Great Plains.

Enjoy approximately three hours in the saddle, with a 20-minute snack break to stretch your legs and take in the scenery. Suitable for beginners through advanced riders, each ride is limited to five guests for an intimate experience with plenty of personal attention from your guides

Spend a full day exploring some of our favorite—and most spectacular—country on horseback. Ride through the national forest bordering the south side of Glacier National Park, with sweeping views of Glacier, the Bob Marshall Wilderness, and the Great Plains.

These are some of the best rides we offer, covering an incredible variety of terrain, from river crossings and open meadows to forest trails and mountain ridgelines. The route follows one big loop, giving you new scenery around every turn without retracing your trail.

You’ll typically spend four to five hours in the saddle, led by knowledgeable local guides who know this country intimately. With a maximum of five guests, each ride offers a friendly, personal experience and plenty of time to connect with your guides and take in wild Montana.
